How NEON Uses Qualtrics LTI to Integrate Student Feedback Into the Learning Journey in Canvas LMS
In its mission to expand access to higher education, the National Education Opportunity Network (NEON) places student voice at the center of educational improvement. Founded in 2019, the nonprofit brings college-level courses into Title I high school classrooms across the United States, enabling thousands of learners to earn transferable university credits while still in high school. With over 60,000 students reached to date and 81% average pass rates, NEON’s mission is to democratize access to higher education through partnership-based learning models that bridge universities, teachers, and students.
As NEON rapidly expanded its programs and partnerships, collecting meaningful student feedback at scale became increasingly complex. Existing survey workflows relied on manual email distribution, creating administrative burden and separating feedback from the learning experience itself.
To support its growth while maintaining a strong focus on student experience, NEON implemented Qualtrics LTI, an integration developed by Drieam that embeds Qualtrics surveys directly into the Canvas LMS environment.
Today, Qualtrics LTI enables NEON to gather feedback seamlessly within courses, transforming surveys into a natural part of the learning journey rather than an external task.
